  • Responsibilities

    • Reserve and prepare secure work areas for conduct of SEB activity.
    • Prepare material, supplies and equipment needed by the SEB.
    • Ensure a copy is received of the signed confidentiality certificate and conflict of interest certificate and Procurement Integrity Certification for Procurement Officials from all SEB members, advisors, and ex-officio members.
    • Support development and implementation of procedures to control access to SEB work areas, and the safeguarding of SEB proceedings and data.
    • Prepare and submit the SEB Weekly Status Report to the SEB Chairperson.
    • Support the preparation, reproduction, control and distribution of all material relating to SEB activity.
    • Track and distribute applicable procedures, policies, instructions, etc., to SEB members, advisors, and ex-officio members.
    • Follow-up on action items assigned to SEB members to ensure the procurement schedule is maintained.
    • Prepare minutes of meetings, obtain the OHA Program Manager or Chairperson’s approval, and distribute copies to all SEB members and others designated by the OHA.
    • Assist with logistical and administrative matters involving tours, conferences and oral presentations.
    • Support preparation and assembling the SEB reports and presentation charts, and arrange for reproduction and distribution
    • Ensure configuration control of the documents is maintained.
    • Prepare materials for debriefings.
    • Assist with the filing of all documentation and Source Selection Information.
    • Prepare meeting minutes for SEB meetings and Office of Hanford Acquisition meetings.
    • Support retaining or destroying documents per DOE Records requirements, and arrange for the return of equipment and materials related to SEB activities.

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year of similar experience;
    • Bachelor’s degree;
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills both oral and written;
    • Significant experience in evaluating, tracking, and coordinating projects;
    • Skilled at critical thinking, problem identification and resolution;
    • Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other automation tools;
    • Ability to independently perform multiple tasks with dynamic priorities;
    • Ability to create various types of performance status reports;
    • All candidates will undergo a background investigation and must be found eligible to receive the appropriate security credential (badge) prior to final approval for hire; and,
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.

    • Must be able to lift & carry up to and excess of 30 lbs.
    • Moderate to extensive sitting; moderate standing, bending, twisting, lifting & reaching
    • Moderate to extended periods of office work with heavy periods of computer usage Moderate to extensive periods of analytical tasks requiring extensive reasoning abilities.

    Work Schedule

    40 hours per week.  May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
