  • Overview

    Maintains and update the property inventory list for devices received and disposed of during the period of performance and adheres to security protocols.

    Responsibilities

    • Monthly accurate accounting for all bar‐coded property listed.
    • Fills out all fields correctly on the property list for all added bar‐coded items.
    • Conducts and reports scheduled and requested inventories.
    • Compliant with applicable standards, Army and ERDC (AR 710‐2, ER 700‐1‐1).
    • Verifies new property items in APPMS within 5 business days.
    • Accurately tracks items that have been identified for disposal until item has been removed from property list.
    • Handles encrypted devices as part of the inventory process.
    • Complies with applicable security protocols.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Secret Security Clearance required.
    • A good working knowledge of the applicable supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, worth methods, manuals, and other established guidelines.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties under operating and deadline constraints.
    • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.

    • Possess an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.
    • Possess an analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to define problems and obtain solutions.

    Supervisory

    None.

    Physical Demands

    Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing and seeing up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.     Work Environment

    Work is performed in both an office setting, and outdoors.  Employee often exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed to some heat, loud noise, chemicals and vibration. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.

    Work Schedule

    40 hours per week.  May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
