  • Overview

    Provide assessment and evaluation of training program development.

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in weekly coordination meetings
    • Report periodically work overseen and any compliance deviations that were observed in accordance with ORP management system procedures. Products include oversight documentation, assessment report writing, issue identification and follow-up.
    • Provide oversight documentation for program development and execution of the following:
      • Training for operators and technical staff
      • Maintenance program
      • Aging and obsolescence
      • Work control
      • Spare part and consumable planning and execution to support operations
    • When requested, participate on Integrated Project Teams (IPT) for:
      • Low activity waste facility
      • Balance of Facilities
      • Laboratory
    • Perform physical inspection walkdowns of the plant to ensure proper care and custody of equipment
    • Support startup testing as needed with documented oversight
    • Perform and document program reviews

    Qualifications

    • Executive experience with direct interface with client senior management
    • Knowledge of DOE policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of Hanford Site mission, activities and priorities.
    • Knowledge of DOE program and project management practices, policies, and procedures.
    • Expert writing skills, proven experience in supporting programs and projects with analysis, tracking, monitoring, assessment, review and coordination.
    • Excellent communications skills.
    • A knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and/or other MS Office tools.
    • The contractor shall maintain proficiencies in the following through periodic training:
      • HGET
      • WTP Site access
      • Computerized Maintenance Management System
      • Smart Plant Foundation and Smart Plant for Operations
      • WTP site qualifications including LO/TO
    • Knowledge of the following DOE Orders/Standards
      • DOE O 422.1, Conduct of Operations
      • DOE O 433.1B, Maintenance Management Program for DOE Nuclear Facilities
      • DOE O 426.2 Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements
    • Familiar with operations, maintenance, training programs or processes in a nuclear facility.

    Physical Demands

    • Must be able to lift & carry up to and excess of 30 lbs.
    • Moderate to extensive sitting; moderate standing, bending, twisting, lifting & reaching
    • Moderate to extended periods of office work with heavy periods of computer usage Moderate to extensive periods of analytical tasks requiring extensive reasoning abilities.

    Work Environment

    The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people in different functions, personalities and abilities.

    Work Schedule

    40 hours per week.  May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
